Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Mashed potatoes
  • 3 lb Lean pork, grnd
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Allspice
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 c. Onion, minced
  •     Pastry for 2 (2 crust) pies

Direcciones

  1. In a saucepan, combine the grnd pork, water, nutmeg, allspice, salt, pepper and onion. Cook over moderate heat for 30 min, stirring often to prevent sticking. Remove from heat; add in the mashed potatoes; and mix well. Cold.
  2. Fill two pastry-lined plates;adjust top crusts, slashing pastry to allow for the steam to escape as the pies bake. Bake in a warm oven, 425 degrees F., For 40 min. Serve warm or possibly cool.
