Traditional Green Pepper Steak

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound beef round steak cut in 1/4 inch wide strips
  • 1 teaspoon paprika - sprinkle over meat
  • 2 cloves garlic (or possibly equivalent) crushed
  • 1 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1 c. sliced green onion
  • 1 can DelMonte tomato wedges (liquid removed)
  • 1 lg. can sliced mushrooms (liquid removed)
  • 2 green peppers cut in strips
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • Cooked rice

Direcciones

  1. Brown meat in butter. Add in garlic and broth. Cover and simmer 30 min. Stir in green pepper, mushrooms and tomatoes. Cook about 5 min (till peppers start to get tender).
  2. Combine soy sauce, water and cornstarch and MIX WELL. Add in to meat mix and cook till thickened. Stir in onions. Serve over rice or possibly chow mein noodles.
