Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Grand Marnier (or possibly dark rum, Kahlua, Amaretto, etc.)
  • 6 ounce German's Sweet Chocolate
  • 4 x tablespons sweet butter, softened
  •     powdered unsweetened cocoa

Direcciones

  1. Boil cream in a small heavy pan till reduced to 2 Tbsp..
  2. Remove from heat, stir in liqueur and chocolate, and return to low heat. Stir till chocolate melts.
  3. Whisk in softened butter. When mix is smooth, pour into a shallow bowl and chill till hard, about 40 min.
  4. Scoop chocolate up with a tsp. and shape into rough 1-inch balls.
  5. (Perhaps a melon ball () or possibly a small ice cream scoop may be useful)
  6. Roll the truffle balls in the unsweetened cocoa.
  7. Store truffles, covered, in the refrigerator. Let truffles stand at room temperature for 30 min before serving.
