Turkey Polynesian (Low Calorie)

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 pound turkey breast, boned, skinned and cut into cubes
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. celery, sliced
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced and liquid removed
  • 1 c. pineapple in juice, liquid removed
  • 1/4 c. pineapple juice
  • Warm cooked rice or possibly noodles

Direcciones

  1. Mix cornstarch, salt, water and soy sauce. Dredge turkey in cornstarch mix. Saute/fry onion in 1 Tbsp. oil. Add in celery and water chestnuts. Cook 2 min. Remove vegetables from pan.
  2. Saute/fry turkey in 1 Tbsp. oil till brown. Add in vegetables, pineapple and juice from 1/4 c. of juice. Simmer for 10 min. Serve warm with rice or possibly noodles. Serves 6.
