Ingredientes

  • 1 pound mustard greens
  • 1/2 pound salt pork, fresh hog jowl, or possibly ham hocks
  • Water
  • 1 pound young tender turnip tops

Direcciones

  1. Wash and drain mustard greens. Put in pot with meat, add in just sufficient water to cover. Simmer, covered, till meat is tender.
  2. Wash and drain turnip tops. Put in pot with sufficient water to cover and simmer till tender. Add in turnip greens with juice to mustard greens, meat and broth. Simmer, covered for 10 min. Drain and reserve liquid. Slice meat and serve over greens.
