Ingredientes

  • 10 sm. turnips
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon bacon drippings, optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bread crumbs

Direcciones

  1. Boil turnips and carrots together till tender. Mash and add in other ingredients. Place in greased casserole; top with bread crumbs.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. (Beat egg and mix with lowfat milk before adding to turnips and carrots.) Serves 6.
