%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20want%20to%20write%20a%20lot,%20but%20I'm%20out%20of%20words,%20all%20I%20know%20is%20that%20there%20is%20something%20about%20writing%20this%20blog,%20sharing%20recipes%20and%20pictures%20with%20everyone%20that%20keeps%20me%20going.%20%20It%20brings%20me%20out%20of%20my%20laziness%20and%20keeps%20my%20mind%20active%20and%20creative,%20so%20I'm%20glad%20the%20blog's%20growing%20with%20each%20passing%20year.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20days%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20too%20regular%20with%20updating%20the%20blog%20and%20I%20apologize%20for%20that.%20But%20with%20family%20visitng%20us%20over%20the%20summer%20and%20trying%20to%20make%20the%20best%20use%20of%20the%20lovely%20warm%20climate,%20we%20spent%20a%20lot%20of%20time%20with%20outdoor%20activities%20and%20lots%20of%20interstate%20trips,%20that%20we've%20hardly%20had%20any%20time%20to%20just%20sit%20with%20our%20laptops%20:-D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20even%20after%20my%20in-laws%20have%20gone%20we%20are%20still%20busy%20with%20so%20many%20Fall%20activities,%20that%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eblogging%20is%20definitely%20taking%20a%20back%20seat%E2%80%A6but%20in%20whatever%20free%20time%20I%20can%20spare%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20will%20still%20continue%20to%20blog,%20share%20my%20thoughts,%20recipes%20,%20fun%20treats%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eideas.%20%20It%E2%80%99s%20something%20I%20want%20to%20do%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ereally%20enjoy%20doing!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20travelled%20a%20lot%20this%20year%20to%20visit%20family%20and%20friends%20within%20the%20US%20and%20had%20made%20one%20such%20fun%20trip%20few%20months%20ago%20to%20visit%20some%20close%20friends%20in%20Texas.%20It%20was%20a%20short%20trip%20but%20filled%20with%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Elovely%20memories%20of%20catching%20up%20on%20old%20tales%20and%20meeting%20our%20friends%20and%20their%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efamilies.%20As%20we%20were%20meeting%20them%20all%20after%20a%20long%20time,%20I%20decided%20to%20bake%20some%20bunch%20of%20treats%20for%20them%20as%20they%20keep%20asking%20when%20will%20they%20ever%20get%20to%20taste%20the%20goodies%20I%20bake%20and%20I%20thought%20this%20was%20the%20perfect%20chance.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20colorful%20Tutti-frutti%20Shortbread%20cookies%20were%20one%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethem.%20They%20are%20so%20yumm%20and%20melts%20in%20your%20mouth%20,%20it%E2%80%99s%20my%20personal%20favorite%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etreat%20to%20gift%20anyone.%20Now%20with%20the%20holiday%20season%20coming%20along,%20I%E2%80%99m%20sure%20some%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eof%20you%20might%20actually%20enjoy%20making%20these%20and%20gifting%20your%20loved%20one%20or%20even%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eyourself%20with%20the%20little%20buttery%20bites.%20So%20on%20the%20occasion%20for%20my%20blog%E2%80%99s%204th%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebirthday%20I%20decided%20these%20are%20just%20perfect%20to%20share%20with%20you%20all!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETutti%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFrutti%20Shortbread%20Cookies%20(Eggless%20cookies)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20%20Preheat%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eoven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F%20with%20the%20rack%20in%20the%20middle%20of%20the%20oven.%20%20Linea%20%20baking%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esheet%20with%20parchment%20paper.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20separate%20bowl%20whisk%20the%20flour%20with%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20salt%20and%20tutti-fruitti%20and%20set%20it%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20the%20bowl%20of%20your%20electric%20mixer%20(or%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewith%20a%20hand%20mixer),%20beat%20the%20butter%20until%20smooth%20and%20creamy%20(about%201%20minute).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20sugar%20and%20beat%20until%20smooth%20(about%202%20minutes).%20%20Beat%20in%20the%20vanilla%20extract.%20Gently%20stir%20in%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20flour%20mixture%20and%20tutti-fruitti%20just%20until%20incorporated.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoll%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eout%20the%20dough%20to%20form%20a%20log%20and%20flatten%20both%20ends,%20wrap%20in%20plastic%20wrap,%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Echill%20the%20dough%20for%20at%20least%20an%20hour%20or%20until%20firm.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20%20On%20a%20lightly%20floured%20surface%20cut%20the%20dough%20from%20one%20flat%20end%20into%20%C2%BC%E2%80%9D%20thick%20rounds%20(just%20like%20cutting%20a%20sausage%20or%20a%20carrot%20into%20rounds%20;-)%20)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20%20Place%20on%20the%20prepared%20baking%20sheets%20and%20place%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ein%20the%20refrigerator%20for%20about%2015%20minutes.%20(This%20will%20firm%20up%20the%20dough%20so%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecookies%20will%20maintain%20their%20shape%20when%20baked.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efor%208%20-%2010%20minutes,%20or%20until%20cookies%20are%20very%20lightly%20browned.%20Cool%20on%20a%20wire%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erack.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERecipe%20Source:%20Joy%20of%20Baking%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20of%20Manish's%20friends%20wife%20who%20tasted%20these%20said%20they%20were%20so%20good%20and%20just%20melted%20in%20your%20mouth%20almost%20like%20eating%20Mysore%20Pak%20(%20a%20popular%20sweet%20dish%20made%20in%20India)%20I%20was%20so%20happy%20and%20I'm%20glad%20they%20enjoyed%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20cookies%20being%20eggless%20as%2
