Ukrainian Uncooked Cheese Pashka

Ingredientes

  • 2 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 pound softened butter
  • 10 hard cooked egg yolks
  • 1/2 to 1 c. sugar, or possibly to taste
  • 1/4 c. commercial lowfat sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Cream softened cheese and butter together till blended. Press egg yolks through a sieve. Beat into cream cheese mix, along with sugar. Stir in lowfat sour cream and vanilla.
  2. Line a clean flower pot with a hole or possibly a sieve which will hold 3-4 c., with dampened cheesecloth, linen handkerchief cut to fit. Pour mix into it and fold lining over top. Place in pan or possibly bowl. Weigh down with a small plate. Chill for 24 hrs. Unmold on plate. Trim top with violet gumdrops and slashes of licorice to make a flower design. Serve cool as a dessert. Will serve 8.
