Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 T cornstarch
  • 1 T flour

Direcciones

  1. Mix the above in saucepan. Gradually add in 3 cups lowfat milk. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly till it boils. Remove from heat, add in some of the hot mix to 3 well beaten egg yolks, then add in to the rest of custard in saucepan. Boil 1 minute longer, flavor with 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tbsp butter. Serve with meringue made of the whites or possibly with whipped cream. Put in 9" baked pie shell.You can add in several bananas (sliced) to the above for banana cream pie.
