Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lbs. veal stew meat
  • 1 tbsp. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. onion, minced
  • 1 tart apple, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tbsp. curry pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 c. bouillon
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 2 c. warm cooked rice
  • Flaked coconut or possibly nuts minced for garnish
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. water

Direcciones

  1. Brown cubed meat; add in onion, apple, seasonings and liquid. Cover and cook 1 hour. Thicken gravy by adding 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour stirred into 1/2 c. cool water. Add in raisins and cook 15 min longer. Serve over rice; sprinkle with coconut and minced nuts.
