Ingredientes

  • 1 pound sirloin stew, veal or possibly some comparable meat
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. each oregano, parsley & sage (more or possibly less to taste)
  • Sauterne
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 sm. can tomato sauce

Direcciones

  1. Flour pcs and brown in oil slowly (brown well). Remove meat, brown minced onion in same pan. When limp, return meat to pan. Add in oregano, sage, parsley and minced garlic (can substitute garlic salt). Mix and brown for 3-4 min all together.
  2. Add in sufficient sauterne to cover meat. Cover and simmer for 5 min. Add in 1 c. water and 1 small can tomato sauce. Cover, let simmer 1-1 1/2 hrs. Serve over rice, potatoes, polenta or possibly noodles. Serves 3.
