Veal Scallopini Ala Marsala

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lbs. 1/8 inch thick veal cutlets
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • About 1 1/2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. dry Marsala or possibly Madeira wine
  • 1 (3 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms or possibly 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. water

Direcciones

  1. Cut veal into large pcs. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper; sprinkle with flour. Saute/fry veal in butter till well browned on both sides. Stir in wine and mushrooms; cook 1 minute over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Place veal on serving platter. Add in water to drippings, stirring and scraping bottom of skillet to loosen browned bits. Cook till bubbly; pour over veal. Yield: 4-5 servings.
