Ingredientes

  • 3 lbs. beef shank, cut in 1 inch pcs
  • 6 c. water
  • 2 c. tomato juice
  • 1/3 c. minced onions
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 1 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 c. minced cabbage

Direcciones

  1. Remove meat from bone. Cut in bite size pcs. Brown in warm fat. Add in bones, water, tomato juice, onion, and seasonings. Cover and simmer 2 hrs. Add in vegetables; cover. Simmer 1 hour longer. Remove bones and bay leaves before serving. Makes 8 servings.
