Ingredientes

  • 1 c. soft butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Large eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 c. boiling water

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter; gradually add in sugar, beating at medium speed till light and fluffy. Beat in Large eggs, molasses, and buttermilk. Combine flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Dissolve soda in boiling water. Add in flour mix to creamed mix alternately with soda water, beginning and ending with flour mix. Beat well.
  3. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min or possibly till toothpick inserted comes out clean.
