Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lbs. stew meat, cubed
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tbsp. oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can whole tomatoes, cut up
  • 1/4 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 onions, quartered
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 carrots, cut in 1/2 inch pcs
  • 1 c. wagonwheel pasta
  • 1 stalk celery in 1/2 inch pcs

Direcciones

  1. Coat beef cubes in flour, salt and pepper. In large pan, brown meat and garlic in oil. Stir in water, tomatoes, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire, onions and bay leaf. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hrs. Remove bay leaf. Add in carrots, celery, and pasta. Cover and simmer 30-40 min or possibly till vegetables are tender. Serves 4-6.
