Receta Watermelon Kheer
Beat the heat with this delicious watermelon flavoured kheer.
Ingredients:
- Rice – 1/2 cup
- Watermelon Juice – 3 cups
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Ghee – 2 tsp
- Milk – 1/4 cup
- Sugar – 2 tsp
Cashewnuts – few
Method:
1. Soak the rice for 1 hour.
2. Place a pan over medium flame.
3. Drain the rice and add to the pan.
4. Pour the watermelon juice and simmer until rice is tender.
5. Add sugar, milk, cardamom powder and mix well.
6. Fry the cashewnuts in ghee and add to the pan.
7. Stir well and pour into serving glasses.
8. Serve hot or chilled.
