White Cake With Chocolate Frosting

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 ounce bitter chocolate
  • 3/4 c. warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Cream the butter, add in the sugar gradually. Cream mix well. Sift the flour, measure, sift 3 times with the baking pwdr added. To the creamed mix add in flour and lowfat milk, alternating till all has been added. Then mix in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Put into either layer pans or possibly a sheet pan. Bake in a moderate oven for about 30 to 40 min.
  2. Boil sugar and water without stirring till syrup will thread when dropped from the tip of a spoon. Pour syrup gradually on melted chocolate and continue beating till of the right consistency to spread, then add in vanilla.
