Receta White Chocolate Almond Butter & Blendtec Giveaway
by Erin S

I am beyond excited to bring you this post today. Not only is the recipe a really good one, but it has a giveaway for one of my favorite things in the world. I have a friend to thank for the recipe idea. Last summer when we went to WI to visit family, we spent some time in IA as well, seeing friends. A friend was telling me about these special nut butters she found at a local shop. She was obsessed with it, and wanted to be able to make it at home. I said I would come up with a recipe and get back to her. Well 8 months later, here you go! Yes, I am a great friend, why do you ask?

I have tried store bought almond butter before and not been a fan. I mentioned this to my friend, but she said I had to try other brands, because there was definitely good and bad almond butter. Well instead of trying other brands, I decided to just make my own. It is so easy to make, and you could flavor it how you want to. Obviously I went with white chocolate, but you could just use almonds for a plain version, or you could add a little honey to your almonds for a slightly sweet version. I went through this batch quicker than I care to admit.

I never thought about making nut butters in a blender, but once I got my Blendtec I had to try it out. The Blendtec is crazy powerful, and can pretty much do anything. I have used it for smoothies, protein shakes, sauces, salsa, and nut butters. The thing can crush ice like no bodies business. I seriously can not say enough good things about this blender. I am so excited to give one lucky reader a Designer Series Blendtec Blender plus Twister Jar! There are so many blender recipes that that I can’t wait to try.
