White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp coconut extract
  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup flaked coconut, toasted
  • 6 squares (1 oz each) white baking chocolate, cut into 1/2 inch chunks
  • Additional sugar

Direcciones

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and both of the sugars
  2. Add the egg and both of the extract
  3. Mix well
  4. Combine the oats, flour, salt, and baking soda
  5. Gradualy add to the creamed mixture
  6. Stir in the coconut and the chocolate.
  7. Drop by tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets
  8. Fl;atten with a glass dipped in sugar
  9. Bake at 350 F for 8-9 minutes or until golden brown
  10. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool
