Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 8 cups of water
  • 1/2 head of cabbage chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 stalks of celery chopped
  • 1 large carrot chopped
  • 1 small potato peeled and chopped
  • 1 package of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small can of corn
  • 1 small can of green beans
  • 1 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
  • 1 28.5oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 small jar of mild salsa
  • 1/4 cup of rice uncooked
  • 4 beef bullions cubes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

1. Chop all fresh vegetables and set aside
2. Brown ground beef, and keep the juices
3. Place ground beef and 8 cups of water in a stock pot
4. Add Tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, canned corn, and canned green beans
5. Add all four beef boullion cubes
6. Add all the fresh vegetables and turn on medium heat untill soup starts to simmer
7. Leaving soup at a simmer place the lid on the stock pot and let simmer for 60 mins.
8. At 60 mins add the Jar of salsa, stir, and replace the lid.
9. Let soup simmer for 15 more mins and then add uncooked rice,stir and replace the lid
10. Let soup simmer for another 15mins or untill rice is cooked
11. Salt and pepper to tase and ENJOY :)
