Whole Wheat Banana Biscuits

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 c. soy flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. (about 1 med.) mashed ripe banana
  • About 1/4 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Put dry ingredients in bowl. Cut in butter till mix resembles cornmeal. Add in next 2 ingredients and sufficient lowfat milk to hold mix together. Stir with fork only till dry ingredients are moistened. Turn out on lightly floured board and knead 10 turns. Roll gently to 1/2 inch thickness and cut in rounds with 2 inch cutter.
  2. Put on ungreased baking sheet, prick with fork and bake in preheated 450 degree oven 10 min, or possibly till well browned. Serve at once with butter and jam, if you like. Makes about 20.
