Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. flour

Direcciones

  1. In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and yeast. In a saucepan, heat the lowfat milk, sugar, salt and butter till hot. Mix lowfat milk in with the dry ingredients in large bowl. Add in Large eggs, one at a time. Beat at low speed with mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping the sides. Mix at a high speed for 3 min. Gradually stir in 2 c. of flour. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead the rest of the flour in till the dough is smooth.
  2. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise till double about 1 hour. Punch down and let it rest 10 min. Shape into balls and place in greased muffin tins. Cover and let rise 45 min. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 min. Makes about 24 rolls.
