Whole Wheat, Turkey Lasagne

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd turkey
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. whole basil
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes or possibly 2 c. tomatoes
  • 12 ounce. sugar free spaghetti sauce
  • 10 ounce. lasagne or possibly wide noodles (whole wheat)
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 beaten Large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound Mozzarella cheese, sliced very thin

Direcciones

  1. Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat. Add in next 4 ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 min, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in large amount of boiling water till tender; drain; rinse. Combine remaining ingredients, except Mozzarella cheese.
  2. Place half the noodles in 9x13x2 inch baking dish; spread with half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce. Repeat layers. Bake at 375 degrees about 30 min. Let stand 10 min before cutting in squares; filling will set slightly. Makes 12 servings.
  3. Or possibly assemble early; chill. Be sure to allow 15 min or possibly so more baking time.
