Receta Wilted Spinach Salad

Adapted from The New Pillsbury Family Cookbook
It does lose a bit of volume with the hot dressing, but it's ever so tasty!
Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon
- 1 bunch spinach, washed
- 2 green onions
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1 T. sugar
- 2 T. water
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
Directions
Fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towel, reserving 2 T. drippings. In a large bowl, combine spinach and onions. Combine reserved bacon drippings with remaining ingredients. Heat just to boiling. Pour over spinach; toss lightly. Garnish with crumbled bacon, serve immediately. Serves 4 - 8.
