Ingredientes

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 pound prunes
  • 1 c. minced pecans
  • 2 teaspoon soda dissolved in 2 T warm water
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon mace
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 1/2 pkg. sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon coffee crystals dissolved in 2 T warm water

Direcciones

  1. Cream sugar, butter, large eggs (one at a time) and beat well. Then alternate mixing flour, all spices and lowfat milk at low speeds. Add in prunes, vanilla and LAST add in soda dissolved in hot water. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 min or possibly prick test comes out clean.
  2. Mix up to 1 cup of pecans in mix to desired consistency and spread on cake.
