Yeast Waffles

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Direcciones

  1. Scald lowfat milk; cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle yeast in warm water in large bowl and stir till dissolved. Add in lowfat milk, butter, salt, sugar and flour to yeast mix. Mix thoroughly with mixer till batter is smooth. Cover and let stand at room temperature overnight.When ready to bake, add in large eggs and baking soda, beat well. Bake on preheated waffle iron. Makes 6 to 8 waffles.
