Receta Yum Yum Sauce
by Ang Sarap

If you have been into a teppanyaki restaurant then you would have heard this Yum Yum Sauce (also called as White Sauce, Japanese Steakhouse Shrimp Sauce or Sakura Sauce). Its one hell of a magical sauce as anything you apply it to tastes really good but do you know what in them? Let’s find out. The first time I had this I thought it was just the kewpie mayonnaise but it’s more than that, if you try to taste them carefully and let your taste buds dissect each element you will notice it’s not just creamy but slightly sweet with some hints of tomato and some butter. So I did my research online and find out more information about this sauce and what I found out is the result of the recipe below. But before we start I think it’s worth to mention that this sauce is not just good with steaks but as well as sushi, tamago, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, stir fried vegetables and even mixed seafood. It’s simply a wonder sauce!Yum Yum Sauce  Save PrintPrep time Total time  Ingredients2½ cups kewpie mayonnaise2 tbsp butter, melted½ cup water2 tsp tomato paste1 clove minced garlic½ tsp paprika2 tsp caster sugar¼ tsp cayenne pepperInstructionsWhisk all ingredients together making sure they are evenly mixed, place in an airtight container then refrigerate overnight before using.3.5.3208  Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...
