Zaycon Foods Smoked Bacon Review
I recently made my first purchase with Zaycon foods… 36
- pounds of smoked bacon! Although 36 pounds sounds extreme, for the price, I will
- go extreme. Beautiful thick cut smoked bacon for $3.49 per pound! Yes I was
- sold when in our grocery store for this quality of bacon you would be paying
almost $6 a pound.
I have been working hard to get my freezer cleaned out in anticipation
of the bacon's arrival and as of Monday it’s here and we were excited to have
it.
Have you ever made a purchase through Zaycon foods? It’s
great! You place your bulk order online and on the set date a truck drives into
your town to a designated location, you drive to the location at the set date
and time, drive up to the truck, a person will ask your name, he will get your
order, and load it in your car! You don’t even have to get out of your car. The bacon was divided up into 12-3 pound packages and vacuumed packed to keep it fresh.

I impressed? YES! I was dreading the whole thing fearing that arriving to pick
up the bacon would be a whole big process full of drama, but it took under 2
minutes even my husband was happy! I think he was fearing the same thing!
So what did I think of the bacon? Wow! It’s not only
beautiful, little fat, thick cut, and super fresh, but it’s delicious! We had
bacon sandwiches on Monday night and I have to say everyone loved it. The bacon
didn’t shrink down to nothing like most bacon. We actually were able to make 6
sandwiches on one pound of bacon and everyone thought it was wonderful.
I am now thinking about ordering the ground beef and chicken
if the bacon is this great I can’t wait to see more. Have you ever placed an
order through Zaycon? This was my first, but it certainly won’t be my last. I would
love to know what you think.
Don’t be afraid of ordering in bulk. Find someone you can go
in on the order with. Although prices will vary based on where you live at $1.99/lb.
on boneless chicken breast or ground beef for $3.99/lb. I don’t think you will
have a hard time finding people to split an order with.
If you haven’t placed an order before or even heard of them
check them out. I am certainly happy I did.
