Zesty Vegetable Marinara Sauce

Make extra and freeze in containers or freezer bags for another day.

Just freeze sauce not pasta.

Ingredientes

  • 2 cups yellow squash, sliced diagonally
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced diagonally
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced diagonally
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 16 oz. jar of marinara sauce
  • Angel hair pasta, cooked
  • Shredded parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Cook and stir veggies and garlic in oil over medium heat until tender.
  2. Stir in sauce. Cover. Reduce heat to low, simmer 20 minutes.
  3. Serve over cooked angel hair pasta.
  4. Top with shredded parmesan cheese.
