Aunt Bees Egg Souffle

Ingredientes

  • 10 slices white bread, crust removed
  • 1 pound grated Cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 pound bacon, cubed & fried crisp

Direcciones

  1. Butter both sides of bread and cube. Put in bottom of 9 x 13 inch glass baking pan. Sprinkle cheese over bread, beat large eggs, salt, lowfat milk and dry mustard together; pour over cheese and bread. Cover, chill overnight.Next morning take and sprinkle crisp bacon over top. Let stand 1 hour before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or possibly till brown and bubbly. Serves 8-10.
