Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 dsh Tabasco sauce
  • 1 x clove garlic chopped
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 x lamb shanks
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 4 med potatoes peeled, sliced 1/2" salt
  • 1 x 16 ounce can whole green beans

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients for sauce in a saucepan. Heat over low heat 5 min, stirring as needed. Heat oven to 350 F. Mix flour, 1 tsp. salt and pepper. Coat meat with flour mix. Heat shortening in a Dutch oven, brown meat and drain off fat. Brush meat with barbeque sauce. Pour water into pan. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Brush meat with barbeque sauce again. Add in potatoes and season with salt. Cover and bake 1 hour longer. Brush remaining barbeque sauce on meat. Add in beans and bake uncovered for 30 min.
