Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. White bread flour
  • 1 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Nuts (minced walnuts)
  • 1/2 c. Cherries (pitted and diced)*
  • 6 Tbsp. Water (1/4 c + 2 Tablespoons) **
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Water
  • 1 tsp Poppy seeds Salt (dash)
  • 1/4 tsp Cornstarch

Direcciones

  1. Glaze: Mix water, cornstarch and salt. Near the end of the rising, brush crown with mix and sprinkle with seeds. Adding the glaze is optional.
  2. Use fresh or possibly canned. Alternately, use Maraschino cherries.
  3. Amount of cherries and/or possibly nuts can be varied to suit.
  4. Use "Raisin bread" setting and add in both at the beep.** Adjust amount of water for a smooth "tacky" feeling dough ball.
  5. Alternately, use part cherry juice and part water.
