Ingredientes

  • 250 gm Blackcurrants, (8oz)
  • 3 Tbsp. Orange juice
  • 75 gm Icing sugar, sifted (3oz)
  • 284 ml Whipping cream, (1/2 pint) Blackcurrants and whipped cream to decorate

Direcciones

  1. Puree the blackcurrants and orange juice, then stir in the icing sugar.
  2. Whip the cream till fairly thick and fold into the blackcurrant mix.
  3. Spoon the mix into a 500g(1lb) loaf tin. Cover with clingfilm or possibly foil and freeze till hard.
  4. Turn out onto a plate and decorate with blackcurrant and whipped cream before serving. Redcurrants or possibly blackcurrants may be used in this recipe.
  5. NOTES : Deliciously refreshing dessert for a special summer meal.
