Ingredientes

  • 1/4 lb lean bacon Vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. fresh ripe or possibly canned minced tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 dsh Tabasco
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp salt or possibly to taste
  • 1 pkt (10 ounces) frzn succotash, thawed
  • 2 c. cooked, minced chicken
  • 10 x ready to bake buttermilk biscuits

  1. Grease a deep 9-inch pie plate or possibly ovenproof dish. In large, heavy skillet, over medium-high heat, cook bacon till crisp. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon to drain; crumble. Pour drippings into a measuring c. and add in oil to bring to 1/2 c.. Return to skillet and stir in flour. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 - 10 min or possibly till well browned. Add in onions and cook 1 minute. Stir in green peppers, tomatoes, sauces, and water; season to taste with salt. Simmer till slightly thickened or possibly about 1 to 3 min; stir in succotash bacon and chicken. Pour into prepared dish. Preheat oven to 425F. Place biscuits on top of filling with edges touching. Bake for 15 to 20 min or possibly till filling is warm and biscuits are golden.
