Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 x Lemon (large)
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Nuts, minced (optional)
  • 1/4 c. Confectioners' sugar

Direcciones

  1. Cream together butter and sugar till fluffy. Grate peel from lemon and add in to creamed mix. Squeeze juice from lemon and set aside. Add in Large eggs, flour, baking pwdr, salt and lowfat milk to creamed mix and blend well. Stir in nuts.
  2. Turn batter into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees one hour. Combine lemon juice and confectioners' sugar and mix well. Pour over warm loaf and allow syrup to sink into bread. Turn loaf out onto a rack and cold.
