Chicken Cheese Spinach Lasagna

Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dry basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounce. uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 24 ounce. creamed cottage cheese
  • 2 c. cooked, cut up chicken
  • 2 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced spinach, liquid removed & thawed
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter over low heat. Add in garlic. Stir in flour and salt. Cook stirring constantly till bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in lowfat milk and broth. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly 1 minute. Stir in mozzarella cheese, 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, onion, basil, oregano and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till mozzarella cheese is melted.
  2. Spread 1/4 of cheese sauce in ungreased baking dish (13 x 9 x 2 inches); top with 3 or possibly 4 uncooked noodles. Spread 1/2 of cottage cheese over noodles. Repeat with 1/4 of cheese sauce, 3 or possibly 4 noodles and remaining cottage cheese. top with chicken, spinach, 1/4 of cheese sauce, remaining noodles and remaining cheese sauce. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 min. Let stand 15 min before cutting.
