Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c. Margarine or possibly butter, soften
  • 2 c. All purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Instant coffee granules Or possibly crystals
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Almond extract
  • 6 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. Slivered almonds
  • 1 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter, soften
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 x To 3 tb mik

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease 15x10x1 inch baking pan. In large bowl, beat brown sugar and 1 c. margarine till light and fluffy. Lightly spoon flour in measuring c.; level off. Add in flour, instant coffee, baking pwdr, salt and almond extract; mix well. (Dough well be crumbly). By hand, stir in chocolate chips and almonds. Press in greased pan.
  2. Bake at 350 F for 15 to 20 min or possibly till light golden. In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients, adding sufficient lowfat milk for desired spreading consistency; blend well. Spread over hot bars. Cold completely; cut into bars.
  3. Makes 48 bars.
