Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Beef round steak*
  • 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Curry pwdr
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 c. Raisins
  • 2 x Apples,peeled, cored, sliced
  • 1 c. Diced onion
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 can Beef broth (14 ounce)
  • 2 x Apples**
  • 1 x Fluffy rice

Direcciones

  1. Or possibly lean stewing beef, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes** unpeeled, cored, and finely choppedWipe beef well. Mix flour and curry pwdr. Coat meat cubes with flour mix. Place meat in crock-pot. Add in garlic, raisins, sliced apples, onion, salt and pepper. Pour in broth and stir to blend.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8 to 10 hrs or possibly till meat is tender. Before serving, stir in additional curry pwdr to taste (up to 1tablespoon) and minced apples. Serve over warm rice. 6 to 8 servings (about 2-1/2 qts)
