Ingredientes

  • 12 lg. cucumbers
  • 6 med. onions
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1 quart. vinegar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. turmeric
  • 1 tbsp. dry mustard

Direcciones

  1. Wash, peel and slice cucumbers and onions. Cover with the salt and let set overnight. Bring vinegar and sugar to a boil. Mix mustard, turmeric and cornstarch in cool vinegar and add in to boiling mix. Drain cucumbers and onions; add in to vinegar solution and bring to a boil. Pack into warm, sterilized jars and seal at once.
