Grandma Fedyk's Puff Pastry

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • Apricot, cherry or possibly other prepared filling

Direcciones

  1. In mixing bowl, work butter into flour (as if for pie dough). Fold in lowfat sour cream. Cover and chill 8 hrs. On a lightly floured board, roll out dough to 1/16 inch thick. Cut with glass or possibly cookie cutter into 2 inch rounds. With a thimble, cut hole in center of half of the rounds. Top each of the solid circles with 1/2 tsp. filling. Place round with hole on top, sandwich style. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min. Makes approximately 40. Freezes well.
