Ingredientes

  • 4 x Oval slices pumpernickel bread
  • 4 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 ounce Thinly sliced Genoa salami
  • 1 jar roasted red peppers, liquid removed and patted dry on paper towels (7ounce)
  • 1/4 lb Fontina cheese, (preferably Italian), sliced thin

Direcciones

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. On a baking sheet toast both sides of bread about 3 inches from heat till surface is crisp and spread one side with mustard.
  3. Divide salami among toast and top with roasted peppers. Cover peppers with Fontina and broil sandwiches till cheese is melted, about 1 minute.
  4. Yield: 4 servings
