Ingredientes

  • 1 ounce Mushrooms, dry (or possibly use 1/4 lb fresh mushrooms)
  • 1/2 c. ,Water, hot
  • 1 lrg Onion
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 1/2 lb Sauerkraut, rinsed/liquid removed
  • 1/3 c. ,Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour Salt and pepper

Direcciones

  1. Soak the dry mushrooms in 1/2 c. of hot water for 1 hour. Saut# mushrooms and onion in butter in a skillet 3 min. Add in sauerkraut to mushrooms; cook and stir for 10 min. Blend 1/3 c. water into flour. Mix with sauerkraut and simmer for 15 min. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. I usually like to add in 1/4 c. of dark rum after cooking. Which reminds me of the recipe I have for*bigos* (similar in construction but with more ingredients).
