Receta Kapusta Kiszona Z Grzybami (Stewed Sauerkraut With Mushroom

Ingredientes
- 1 ounce Mushrooms, dry (or possibly use 1/4 lb fresh mushrooms)
- 1/2 c. ,Water, hot
- 1 lrg Onion
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 1/2 lb Sauerkraut, rinsed/liquid removed
- 1/3 c. ,Water
- 2 Tbsp. Flour Salt and pepper
Direcciones
- Soak the dry mushrooms in 1/2 c. of hot water for 1 hour. Saut# mushrooms and onion in butter in a skillet 3 min. Add in sauerkraut to mushrooms; cook and stir for 10 min. Blend 1/3 c. water into flour. Mix with sauerkraut and simmer for 15 min. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- I usually like to add in 1/4 c. of dark rum after cooking. Which reminds me of the recipe I have for*bigos* (similar in construction but with more ingredients).
