Ingredientes

  • 1 can chickpeas - (15 ounce) see * Note, rinsed,
  •     and liquid removed
  • 1 jar roasted red bell peppers - (7 ounce) liquid removed, minced
  • 2 x garlic cloves
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 x Italian bread shell - (10 ounce) see * Note
  • 1 pkt feta cheese - (8 ounce) crumbled
  • 3 x plum tomatoes sliced
  • 1/4 c. pitted kalamata or possibly ripe olives minced
  • 1 tsp dry oregano

Direcciones

  1. Note: One (15-oz) can navy beans may be substituted for chickpeas. One (10-oz) can refrigerated pizza crust, baked, may be substituted for bread shell.
  2. Process first 7 ingredients in a blender or possibly food processor till smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
  3. Spread chickpea mix over bread shell. Top with feta cheese and remaining ingredients.
  4. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min or possibly till lightly browned.
  5. This recipe yields 6 servings.
