Ingredientes

  • Peel 4-5 potatoes, boil and mash
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • Mixed vegetables
  • Meat

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour, salt, baking pwdr in bowl. Cut in shortening till mix resembles corn meal. Stir in lowfat milk till mix clings together. Knead lightly on floured board and roll out to fit casserole. Flute top edge. Heat and thick slightly 2-3 c. of any mixed vegetables and meat (leftover roast or possibly hamburger is fine). Put vegetable mix into biscuit casserole and bake in warm oven, 425 degrees, till dough is done, 15-20 min. Fix mashed potatoes and pile on top of casserole. Return to oven a few min to keep warm. Serve with warm gravy.
