Whipped Cream Frosting

Ingredientes

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Direcciones

  1. Refrigerate the mixing bowl and whisk for 30 minutes. DO NOT skip this step!
  2. In a small saucepan place the powdered sugar and cornstarch and gradually stir in 1/4 cup of the cream.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer until the liquid is thickened.
  4. Scrape into a small bowl and cool completely to room temperature.
  5. Stir in the vanilla.
  6. Use an electric mixer fitted with the mixing bowl and whisk form the refrigerator add 3/4 cup cream and mix on high for one minute.
  7. Turn mixer to low and add the cornstarch mixture in a steady stream
  8. 8 Turn mixer to high and beat until stiff.
