Hello, I am Thay from Malaysia and I born in the year of 1986. I have been working as a cook for the past 10 years since I graduate from the culinary college.
My main cooking strength is in Japanese cuisine although I am a Malaysian Chinese, I do experience in various cooking as well such as pastry, appetizer, Chinese cooking, western food, and bakery. I used to work in a hotel and I begin to move to another work place constantly once I master part of the cooking skill.
My previous last career is on a cruise ship which I satisfied myself in the life of cooking, for now, I want to do something different than to an operation, to write and share recipe and cooking skill.

I actually knew not what to do at the moment I graduate from my local high school. Hence I tried different job to look for the one that I love, then I decide to join the kitchen for the rest of my life. I have no talent and have nothing to inspired others around me but the love of food in me would never seize, my eyes will flicker when I see something (food) pretty, neatly arrange on plate.
I went to a local college and finish my course in culinary art and my first job after I left my college is working as a commis in a well known Japanese restaurant at the local 5-star hotel. I spent 3 years in this hotel and learnt a lot of things. After that, I left the nice salary position as their working knowledge could not satisfied anymore. I went to another department like pastry, and bakery even though my salary has been cut in half, but it doesn't matter, I just want to sneak into the kitchen and eat.
Another few years later, I join a cruise ship company in the US and sail around the Caribbean sea, learning something that I don't even know what it is, but their way are far more awesome, compare the traditional cooking.
Finally, nice to meet you as I am here (sitting at a table to write) and I hope you like what I am bringing.
