Acerca de mí

I grew up watching my mother put a home-cooked meal on the table 6 nights a week. It wasn't until I found myself living alone in an apartment in VA Beach that I started trying my mom's recipes and cooking to entertain myself. 6 years and a Naval career later, I am now a happily engaged high school teacher who loves to come home from a long day and try out a new recipe or prepare one of my childhood favorites. I may complain about it sometimes, but deep down I love it...cooking is my outlet.
