I am a small town "Redneck" and I love southern cookin'! I was born Indian (Choctaw) and raised cowgirl....I call it, bein' from the best of both worlds!
I spent many years caring for disabled animals (blind, deaf, lame, etc.) on 30 beautiful acres. I had rescued many horses from slaughter but then, my time of need came, (due to breast cancer). Ultimatelly I lost the sanctuary that I had created for all the needy animals that I had rescued.
There is a happy ending! I still have my born deaf (sign language dog) "Tobie Nashoba" ( White Wolf) and my blind Dauchsand "Diamond" and I still look forward to adopting a minture horse to complete my animal family on the small land my father left me.
In the mean time... I LOVE COOKIN'!
