I've lived all around the country and I have been lucky to be exposed to all kinds of great eats. I spent many years learning to cook the various recipes of each area of the country. After many costly and disappointing dining out experiences, I realized most of the time I could cook a meal that was as good or better than dining out, my wife and I now make a big deal out of making "Dining In." BTW... The Service Is Great!
My specialty areas are Mexican/Latin, Cajun, Italian, and my favorite Grilled and BBQ meats.

My cooking influences came from eating with friends in the various places I've lived. Born and raised in the South... South Dakota that is... and lived all over the US, and have enjoyed eating local wherever location. I've found eating the fresh locally prepared foods by home cooks by far exceed even the best restaurant fare.
So really my biggest cooking influences have been the great home cooks that have prepared me the best meals of my life!
